Equation Heist

Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026

In short: Equation Heist collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your game progress stays on your device.

This policy covers the Equation Heist app for iPhone and iPad, made by Bonendo (“we”). It explains what the app stores and who can see it.

What we collect

Nothing. The app does not send your progress, your answers or anything about you or your device to us or to anyone else. We have no server for the game, and we cannot see who plays it or how.

What stays on your device

To remember your game, the app saves a few things on your iPhone or iPad:

WhatWhy
Vaults you have opened and the stars you earnedTo show your progress on the map and unlock the next vaults
Free Play results: date, score and time of each quizTo show your history and best score
Your settings (sound, haptics, how symbols are placed) and whether you have seen the introTo keep the game the way you set it
How many free quizzes you have played today, and whether Full Heist is unlockedTo apply the free daily limit and unlock purchased content

This information never leaves your device through the app. Like other app data, it is included in your device’s own backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) if you use them; those backups are handled by Apple and your settings, not by us.

You can clear it at any time: Settings → Reset Progress and Settings → Free Play history → Clear History in the app, or delete the app to remove everything.

Purchases

The optional Full Heist unlock is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles the payment and your Apple Account; we never receive your name, email address or payment details. The app asks the App Store only whether Full Heist has been bought on your Apple Account, so it can unlock it and restore it on your other devices. Apple’s handling of purchases is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Apple gives developers anonymous, combined sales and usage statistics in App Store Connect. These do not identify you.

Internet use

The game works fully offline. The only time the app goes online is to talk to Apple’s App Store about the Full Heist purchase: to show its price, make the purchase or restore it.

Children

Equation Heist is a math game that children may enjoy. Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children. It shows no ads. Purchases go through Apple, so Family Sharing and Ask to Buy work as set by the family organizer.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf. Everything the app stores is on your device and under your control, as described above. If you have a question about your privacy, write to us and we will answer.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the effective date above before that version is released, and describe the change in the app’s release notes.
